Micro Needling

Also known as Skin needling or collagen induction therapy, this treatment uses a device with tiny needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. These tiny punctures trigger your body’s natural healing response, boosting collagen and elastin production. The result? Smoother, firmer, and more youthful-looking skin with improved texture, reduced fine lines, diminished acne scarring, stretch marks, hyperpigmentation, and tighter pores.

Skin Needling is a great all rounder treatment if you are looking for a treatment that does it all.

If you don't have active acne then this treatment is for you.

Recommended frequency:

A course of 4 sessions every 4–6 weeks is ideal for optimal results.

Many clients choose to continue treatments every 4–6 weeks to maintain a youthful glow.

After doing a course of 4 then maintenance sessions can be pushed to every 2-3 months.

Downtime:

Expect redness for 1–3 days, which gradually fades each day. We suggest scheduling this treatment 1–2 weeks before any major event like a wedding, party or holiday.

Aftercare:

Avoid active ingredients for 3–5 days. This includes Retinol, Vitamin C, Glycolic and any other harsh actives.
No makeup on the same day or the next day to be worn
No sun exposure – always wear SPF 50 - Your skin will be a lot more reactive to the sun, Raw and Sensitive so wear a hat if possible.
No swimming or high-intensity exercise for at least 24 hours

Pain Level:

Mild discomfort may be experienced.

Some clients choose to apply a pharmacy-grade numbing cream 30 minutes before their appointment (we will cleanse this off in the treatment room). Many clients, however, find the treatment tolerable without numbing.

The first session will always be done without numbing to see what your skin is like then you can decide if you want to go ahead in the future with numbing but honestly clients choose no numbing.

Each serum used within treatment is customized on your skin concern. There is the favourite of the group Polynucleotides, Exosomes or NAD.
